BEFORE

Kate was not happy with herself and ready to change after the COVID-19 pandemic. She had gained a lot of weight and was on the verge of being obese. Despite this, she had an unhealthy relationship with food. Kate was stressed out, would get tired easily and only lightly worked out because she saw it as a chore. She did not like her period because she saw it as a hinderance, something that was painful, and was disconnected with herself as a woman. Kate knew that her mindset had to change to achieve all of the things that she wanted to achieve in her life.

SOLUTION

Kate received a personalized vegan meal plan that would help her lose weight while still eating food that she liked. She also received a tailored workout routine that would help her gain muscle while losing weight. She also received support to help her change her mindset towards goals, putting herself first, and- most importantly- loving herself. Kate also learned how to reconnect with herself as a woman and hormonal health to reduce PMS and make her periods less painful.

After

In a year, Kate lost over 50 pounds that she gained during the pandemic. She did this by learning that she can eat without restriction and still lost weight, which helped her heal her relationship with food. Kate learned out to manage her stress in a healthy way, which includes working out three to four times a week in accordance with her menstrual cycle. She is now enthusiastic about going to the gym and working out to shred fat, gain muscle, and increase her strength. Kate is also thrilled with how she can now deadlift 20-25 pounds. She now had a deep connection to femininity. Kate’s PMS systems and cramping has reduced to minimal or none. She now has a neutral feeling towards her period and no longer dreads the first day of her cycle. Most of all, Kate has a better relationship with herself. Being part of the Plantiful Goddess program’s supportive community helped support her in this journey so that she did not feel alone. All of the changes made in the program has made Kate feel more confident, empowered and equipped with all of the skills she needs to achieve her goals. Most importantly, Kate has learned that she is worth it.
